India named their 12-members team for 2nd Test against West Indies in Hyderabad.
Mohammad Siraj, Mayank Agarwal, and Hanuma Vihari will once again warm the bench
The no.1 side in the world stick with the same team they selected in the first Test at Rajkot. Home team hammered the Windies in the 1st Test to recorded their biggest win in Test cricket by innings and 272 runs. However, visitors will be confident with the return of Kemar Roach and Jason Holder in the playing XI. Meanwhile, their batting is still a big concern heading into the 2nd and final Test match of the series.
Virat Kohli & Co are not in a mood to take vulnerable Windies lightly, therefore India played their best team for the 2nd Test match. The home side got many positives from the 1st Test match, But there are a few areas they want to improve. The form of Kl Rahul and Ajinkya Rahane is a cause of worry for India considering upcoming Australia tour. If Rahul fails in the 2nd Test match, then India has to look back to Murli Vijay for the choice of 2nd opener along with Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal. India vice-captain Rahane is also struggling with his form. He hasn’t scored a century in 2018. Apart from that, his strokeplay has also deteriorated this year. India wants their two best players to come good in the 2nd Test match at Hyderabad.
Here is a 12 members team
Virat Kohli (captain), KL Rahul, Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami, and Shardul Thakur.
