Miller, Klaasen, and Phehlukwayo rattled Indian Wrist spinners to handed South Africa their first win in the series.
The scores are 3-1, two match remains in the series. Home side needs to win both the match to level the series.
Dropped catch and No ball wicket of David Miller in Yuzvendra Chahal over are the turning point of the match
South Africa got momentum after an emphatic victory in the 4th ODI against India. They finally overcome Indian spin web by counter-attacking Duo wrist spinners in the rain-hit match.
Earlier in the day, Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to Bat first. Rohit Sharma once again got out cheaply for 5 runs. But The man in his life of form Virat enters the crease. Shikhar Dhawan looked flawless once again in the match. He counter-attack South African plans of the Shot ball. He scored his most of the runs by playing pull shot. The Delhi boys Virat Kohli 75 and Shikhar Dhawan 109 added 158 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket. It is their 2nd consecutive 100 plus partnership.
Virat Kohli looked good and cruising towards 35th ODI hundred. But he got out for 75 runs. However, Shikhar Dhawan continued to bat in his fashion and completes his 13th ODI hundred. But rain halts the match after 34th Over of the Match.
Match resume after small break changes the momentum in Proteas favor. India lost their two wickets in two consecutive overs. Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkey Rahane got out in just 13 runs scored after the break. MS Dhoni 42 played sensible till the last over but he won’t get much support from other lower order batsman like Shreyas Iyer 18 and Hardik Pandya 9.
Dhoni stroked 21 runs in last 2 overs to take India at a good total of 289 runs.
The target is achievable for the home side. They start well in the chase with 43 runs partnership of their openers. But they lost their wickets just before the match stopped due to rain. Captain Aiden Markram 22 got LBW by Jasprit Bumrah.

This two mistake takes the game away from Visitors hand. Miller scored 39 runs in just 28 balls. While Heinrich Klaasen scored unbeaten 43 runs in just 27 balls. The icing on the cake was Phehlukwayo 23 runs in 5 balls to win the game for South Africa.
India wrist spinners Kuldeep Yadav & Yuzvendra Chahal gone for 119 runs in 69 balls and took only 3 wickets.
