Defending Champion Mumbai Indians ride high on Rohit Sharma and Ewin Lewis batting heroic to defeat Virat Kohli Royal Challengers Bangalore by 46 runs.
RCB bowlers once again failed to contain opposition batsman from posting over 200 runs.
Virat Kohli hard fought 92 went in vain as 6 batsmen of RCB failed to reach the double figure in the chase.
Mumbai bowlers roar for the first time in this season after failing to defend target in first 3 matches. They finally stopped RCB short by 46 runs.
RCB did almost everything right in Vivo IPL 2018 auction. They selected most balanced squad for them in IPL history. The bowling attack of RCB looked good for the 1st time in IPL. But again as IPL started Royal Challengers challenge seemed dull. Virat said before the tournament kick-off that this year Bowlers will win matches for his side. Meanwhile, things seem different from the expectation.
RCB bowlers changes but they still stand where they are in 2017. They have many loopholes in both batting and bowling. Especially bowling as Bangalore is desperately missing a quality overseas fast bowler in their team. Chris Woakes proved to be expensive. Their batting is also crumbled while chasing a big total.
Virat Kohli and co have to find a way to gain the winning momentum in the tournament.
