New Zealand women’s team continue their supremacy over Pakistan women in 2nd T20 and took an unassailable 2-0 lead over the opposition . The match was played at Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, Sharjah. New Zealand Women won the toss and opted to bat. They scored an impressive 150 runs in the allotted 20 overs. It included brilliant opening partnership of 116 between Sophie Devine (72) and captain Suzie Bates (50). Sadia Yousuf and Javeria Khan picked 2 wickets each for Pakistan.

In reply, Pakistani batswomen continued to struggle against Kiwis bowling and no Pak batswomen were able to score runs freely. As a result, they could only manage to score 111 runs with the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Amy Satterthwaite picked 2 wickets for the Blackcaps.

Note: Sophie Devine was adjudged player of the match.
