Former Pakistani captain, Misbah ul Haq will not be a part of upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL-IV), a statement from Islamabad United confirmed earlier today.

Misbah has captained the two-time champion for first two years since he joined them in the inaugural edition of PSL. JP Duminy, later on, took over due to Misbah’s fitness woes.

The 44-year-old has scored 381 runs in 25 matches (at an average of 25+) for Islamabad United. He took retirement from international cricket last year.

The fourth edition of T20 league (PSL) begins February 14 next year.
