The 20th match of the U 19 world cup played between table topper team India and Zimbabwe at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. Where Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first on the nice batting surface. From the start of their innings, Zimbabwe batsman finds hard to score runs against the quality bowling of Indian team. Bowlers keep it tight and force Zimbabwe batsman to stroked unusual shots which cost their wickets at the regular interval in the passage of play. However many Zimbabwe batsman gets starts but they won’t able to convert it into the good score.
Zimbabwe never gets into the game as India all over them. Zim gets all-out for the very low score of 154 on the very good batting pitch. Once again Anukul Roy left-arm spinner comes into play. He took 4 wickets for 20 runs in his 7 overs.
While chasing small target India tried a new opening combination for this game to ensure everyone gets an exposure to the conditions. Harvik Desai too makes the opportunity count with his 56 runs in 73 balls. The duo added unbeaten 155 runs in just 130 balls to finish the game for their side with more than 28 overs to spare.
