The 6th match of the Bangladesh Premier League took place at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday where Rajshahi Kings won the toss and elected to field first. Sylhet Sixers scored 205 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. Upul Tharanga scored 37-ball fifty while Andre Fletcher and Dhanuska Gunatilaka scored 48 and 42 runs respectively. Kesrick Williams picked 2 wickets by giving away 39 runs in his four overs for Rajshahi Kings.
Chasing a target of 206 runs, Rajshahi Kings had a good start as opener Luke Wright scored 56 runs but then the middle order collapsed. James Franklin was looking good for his 35 runs before he was run out by Liam Plunkett in the 17th over. Eventually, Rajshahi Kings kings lost the match by 33 runs as they only managed 172/8 in their 20 overs. Liam Plunkett and Abul Hasan picked up 3 wickets each.
