Australian bowlers kept it tight to restrict England at low score
The Tri-series T20 match played between host Australia and England at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne where Australia won the toss and opt to bowl. Their bowler bowled superbly to remove the top order of England cheaply. However, captain Jos Buttler helped his side to reach the respectable total of 137 runs in their 20 overs. Kane Richardson was the best bowler for the Aussie side. He picked 3 wickets for 33 runs in 4 overs. while Stanlake took two and Tye chipped in with one.
While chasing Australia lost their Captain David Warner in 1st over. Even though D Arcy Short 36 and Chris Lynn 33 added briskly 49 runs partnership in just 29 balls. Later Glenn Maxwell 39 in 26 balls and Aaron Finch 20 in 5 balls provide finishing touch to the home side. Chris Jordon was the most impressive bowler for England with his figure 3 overs 26 runs and 2 wickets. Australia won the match with 33 balls to spare
