Ravichandran Ashwin is India’s main spin bowler whether its subcontinent conditions or playing away from home. With nearly seven years of experience, the off-spinner has come a long way.

The 31-year-old has left no stones unturned in his performances. It impressed the former England bowler, Graeme Swann.

“Ashwin is easily the best off-spinner in the world, his record in the subcontinent is phenomenal and I loved the way he bowled at Edgbaston. Australia’s Nathan Lyon has come up brilliantly and I am impressed by the fact that he has been successful back home. He hasn’t been as effective in England and I would keep Ashwin just ahead of him because of the variations that he has, in addition to being brilliantly consistent,” Swann told the Times of India as per a report.

Note: Ashwin has so far picked 324 wickets in 61 in Test matches.
