Jamaica Tallawahs won the toss and opted to field first. Batting first, Barbados lost 3 wickets for just 39 runs in the 7th over but then Steve Smith (63) and Shai Hope (43) rescued the team and shared a partnership of 103 runs for the fourth wicket and helped Barbados post 156/6.
Andre Russell picked 2 wickets.
In reply, Jamaica Tallwahs played well but eventually fell short by 2 runs as they required 9 runs off the last over. Johnson Charles top scored with 42 runs as they managed 154/3.
