Sri Lanka defeated South Africa by 3 wickets in a low scoring T20I game at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Tuesday.

South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first. Batting first, they got bowled for 98 runs in just 16.4 overs. Lakshan Sandakan scalped 3 wickets while Dhananjaya de Silva and Akila Dananjaya shared two wickets each. Quinton de Cock top scored with 20 runs.

In reply, Proteas bowlers also benefited from the pitch. Rabada, Shamsi, and Junior Dala scalped two wickets each but SL won the game by 3 wickets. Dinesh Chandimal and Dhanjanaya De Silva scored 36 and 31 runs respectively.

Dhananjaya De Silva was Man of the Match for his all-around performance.
