Sri Lanka who is currently playing the third test against England is on a brink of whitewash at home.
England has dominated the test series so far to an extent that Tourists are batting and bowling really well, thanks to the debutant Ben Foakes, Keaton Jennings including Jonny Bairstow who proved worth his presence in the concluding test.
SL is 53/4 and is expected to lose the game as there are 2 more days gameplay is still left out with hosts requiring another 274 runs to chase.
Note: The final test is taking place at Galle. SL lost the first test and second test by 211 runs and 57 runs respectively.
England spinners like Jack Leach, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid has left the Srilankan batting high and dry.
On the other hand, England players love batting in sub continent pitches.
What next for Srilanka?
The home side has found it tough to dominate matches after losing their heroes like Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardena.
The struggle is real but it also shows the lack of adaptability when it comes to playing in the international stage for new faces.
Bowlers have come good like Dilruwan Perera, Lakshan Sandakan, and Malinda Pushpakumara but the bowling department can’t alone win the games.
Perhaps, What’s more frustrating is that batsmen are not being able to bat well under pressure and score consistently.
The captain needs to win sessions. With injury concerns over Dinesh Chandimal, current skipper Suranga Lakmal has disappointed.
