South Africa defeated Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI by a big margin of 113 runs

South Africa pulverizes tourist Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI as host sets their upper hand to win the series with 3 matches more to play. Earlier in the match, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to ball first. South Africa got a good start from their openers as Reeza Hendricks and De Kock added 91 runs for the opening wicket.
De Kock showed his aggressive play to hammered 94 runs off just 70 balls, he was well supported by South African captain Faf Du Plessis with 57 runs off 66 balls.
However, despite getting the solid start from the top order, South Africa’s middle order failed to impress as the Du Plessis team only managed to post 250 runs on the board.
Thisara Perera was the pick of the bowlers for Sri Lanka with his 3 wickets in the match.
In reply, Sri Lanka started miserly as their openers fell cheaply and they continued to lose wickets at regular intervals which haunt their chase. In the end, they were bowled out in a low score of 138 runs and handed South Africa a big win.
Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets for South Africa to seal the game for his side.
