It’s been a frustrating day for the Indian cricket team as both Women’s and Men’s team lost their matches consecutively on the day. Rohit led Indian team suffers their worst T20 defeat in terms of runs. Kiwis outplayed India in all three departments and showcase their real straight in the shortest format of the game. New Zealander went hard from ball one and kept Indian bowlers under pressure thought 20 overs. The best part about their batting was they never slow down run scoring momentum despite losing wickets in the middle overs. Indian bowlers failed to adapt according to the pitch and bowled very pathetic bowling to New Zealand batsman. In the end, Scott Kuggeleijn played a blistering cameo of 20 runs in just 7 balls to take his side to 219 runs in 20 overs.

Tim Southee displayed brilliant swing bowling to trouble Indian openers and picking wicket of Indian captain Rohit Sharma for just 1 run. Men in blue continued to lose wickets at regular intervals and in the end, India remains short of 80 runs and bundled out for 139 runs.
