WI posted 283/9 on the board. Shai Hope once again came handy with his vital 95 runs while all-rounder Ashley Nurse provided the finishing touch to their inning with his quick 40(22) runs knock.
Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers for India who took 4 wickets.
Playing one batsman short cost India in the run chase as they felt pressure when losing wickets at regular intervals.
Kohli once again played as a lone warrior, he scored 107 runs. However, the pressure of required run rate forced him to play low percentage shot, it cost his wicket and India’s hope of winning the match was also got over. In the end, Windies won the match by 43 runs and ended India’s 10 matches unbeaten streak at home.
