India women beat England women by 66 runs in 1st ODI held at Mumbai on Friday.

England women won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first.

India were bowled out for 202 runs.

Jemmimah Rodriguez scored 48 runs and skipper Mithali Raj added 44 runs.

Georgia Elwiss, Sophie Ecclestone and Natalie Sciver scalped 2 wickets each.

In reply, A dramatic collapse- England were bowled out for 136 runs and last 7 wickets fell for just 20 odd runs.

Natalie Sciver scored 44 runs before getting run out. Skipper, Heather Knight was unbeaten on 39.

Ekta Bisht ended with figures of 8-0-25-4 and Sciver’s run out to win Women of the match award.

Shikha Pandey and Deepti Sharma also scalped 2 wickets.

Next match will be held on February 25.
