Chris Gayle who scored 135 runs to help Windies post 360/8 ended up on the losing side as England chased down their highest total in ODI history.

Windies won the toss and opted to bat. Gayle hit 12 sixes and 3 fours and went past Shahid Afridi (477) record to hit the most number of sixes in international cricket.

Shai Hope added 60 runs while DM Bravo contributed 40 runs.

Ben Stokes and Adil Rashid scalped 3 wickets each, Woakes claimed 2 wickets.

In reply, centuries from Joe Root (102) and Jason Roy (123) sealed the game for England who won the match comprehensively by 6 wickets in 48.4 overs.

Captain Eoin Morgan too contributed 65 runs.
