Indian left-hand opener Shikhar Dhawan is not happy with the IPL contract with SRH.
Swashbuckling batsman Shikhar Dhawan and his IPL franchise SRH are not looking forward to persisting with each in IPL 12. SRH premium batsman Dhawan was not happy with his fees during IPL11. He apparently argued with the Head coach of SRH Tom Moody for not retaining him in top one or two players. In spite of retaining, SRH used RTM to retain Dhawan for a lesser price of 5.2 crores compared to his national teammate Virat Kohli 17 crores and Rohit Sharma 15 crores.
Dhawan has recently expressed his desire to leave the Franchise. He felt that his price tag was below par in the auctions of IPL 11.
Dhawan wanted SRH to retained him in IPL 11 auctions in top two places in Sunrisers Hyderabad, but SRH decided to retained Warner for Rs 12 crore and Bhuvneshwar Kumar for Rs 8.5 crore. Indian opener was not happy with the decision of SRH. Now both Shikhar Dhawan and SRH has decided to part away in upcoming IPL 12. Sunrisers is looking to trade Dhawan with Mumbai Indians.
Note: IPL trading is open till mid-December before an auction.
