Former Indian fast bowler Munaf Patel finally call his time from International cricket after being out of the National side for 7 years. Patel was the part of India’s world cup winning team in 2011. He started his career as one of the fastest bowlers at his time, but as he featured in the Indian side on regular basis his pace gets dropped. During the 2011 World Cup, Munaf Patel was criticized for his sloppy fielding, since then he hasn’t got any opportunity to play for India.

The 35-year-old pacer played in 13 Test, 70 ODI and 3 T20 for India and took 125 wickets.

Munaf said to Media “There is no regret; after all the cricketers I played with have retired,” Munaf told The Indian Express. “Only Dhoni is left! So, there is no sadness as such. Everyone’s time is up; I would have been sad had others been playing and I had quit”

Note: Munaf Patel will be seen in the upcoming T10 league in Dubai. Many former Indian crickets were participating in the smallest format of cricket.
