Hardik Pandya set to feature in iconic boxing day Test match at MCG on 26th December 2018
All-rounder Hardik Pandya called in for the remaining last two Test Matches against Australia. Pandya, who suffered a lower back injury in the Asia Cup 2018 kept him away from the game for 3 months. However, he made a traffic comeback in the Ranji Trophy by picking 5 wicket haul and scored 73 runs against Mumbai.
Pandya inclusion is looking like a major boost in India’s balance in the ongoing Test series against Australia. Visitor India playing with a long tail in the absence of R Ashwin in the 2nd Test at Perth cost India massively as they lost their last 5 wickets very cheaply in both innings. The 25-year-old Baroda All-rounder provides India much needed lower order contribution with the bat in MCG and Sydney.
