Cheteshwar Pujara stoked 61 balls hundred in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy
Indian rock Cheteshwar Pujara overpowered his defensive shadow to hammer his fastest T20 century. Pujara shut down his critics over his slow game as he modifies his skills in the shorter format of the game to stroke a phenomenal hundred. Saurashtra batsman took 61 balls to reach the milestone of 100 runs, In his impeccable knock, Pujar stroked 14 fours and 1 six.
Indian batsman gives the credit of his fast play in T20 to his father, Who advised him to use his feet and crease to score runs quickly in white ball cricket.
Pujara said to Media after the match”Papa had said the day before the match to that how I can use my batting crease in the T20 format. And the reason especially in this format, bowlers are always under pressure because they have to experiment with something. So if you can pick that ball early by using the crease (by either going forward or back) you can pick the bowlers length early and you can play the shots better,”
