Yorkshire re-sign India’s most solid Test batsman Pujara
Cheteshwar Pujara has scored 816 runs in the County Championship, including three 50s and three centuries

Cheteshwar Pujara had the tough tour at recently concludes series against South Africa. He scored on 100 plus runs in the series with the average of 20. But Pujara knows that bigger challenge awaits him when he plays in England. But before that series, he wants to make him fully prepared.
Pujara is not new to Yorkshire. He helped Yorkshire win the 2015 County Championship, could play in the Leeds Bradford MCCU game in April.
Pujara is delighted after the contract. He said “It’s an honor for me to play for the same county as Yuvraj Singh and Sachin Tendulkar,” he told the club’s website.
He added “Each time I’ve played county cricket it has improved me as a player. That’s the plan again in 2018,”.
Pujara will back in India to play a Test match against Afghanistan in Bengaluru from 14-18 June. But he returns back in time for the away trip to Hampshire in the County Championship on 20 June.
