England all-rounder hit a maiden T20 ton while playing for Worcestershire in T20 blast on Friday.

Ali scored 115 runs off just 56 balls with the help of 12 fours and seven sixes to help his side post 209/5. In reply, Warwickshire could only manage 194/7 and thus Worcestershire claimed 15 runs to finish atop the table in the North group.

Worcestershire will next play against Gloucestershire in the quarter-final clash on August 25.

Ali who was named for the Tests against team India didn’t get a chance to play in the first three tests.

ECB has confirmed that Ali would be available for County Championship against Yorkshire.
