Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the role of MS Dhoni in his biopic, committed suicide at the age of 34, as per media reports. He was found hanging at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai on Sunday. According to initial reports, Sushant was suffering from depression from last six months. The police is yet to recover any suicide report.  The ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ actor’s demise came as a shock to cricket fraternity and Bollywood celebrities.

Here’s how the Indian cricketers reacted to this sad news.

In a Tweet post, Sachin Tendulkar wrote, “Shocked and sad to hear about the loss of Sushant Singh Rajput. Such a young and talented actor. My condolences to his family and friends. May his soul RIP.”

Really sad and shocking. May his soul rest in peace. #SushantSinghRajput,” wrote Ajinkya Rahane.

Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli called him a ‘talented and loved actor’.

”A talented actor gone too soon,” said Anil Kumble.

In utter shock and disbelief on hearing the news of the demise of the talented actor #SushantSinghRajput .One could never tell what internal turmoil he was enduring behind that charming boyish smile to take such a drastic step. You will be missed. #RIP #Mentalhealth #gonetoosoon,” wrote Mithali Raj on the micro-blogging website.

Suresh Raina said he was ‘shocked’ by passing away of the actor.

“Shocked to hear about Sushant Singh Rajput. Met him several times as he spent time with us for Mahi’s biopic. We’ve lost a handsome, ever smiling actor. Om Shanti!” his tweet post read.

“Still reeling in shock. Terribly unfair,” wrote Dhoni-led IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings.

“Plz tell me this is a fake news.. Cant believe Sushant Rajput is no more..Condolence to the family. Very sad #ripsushantsinghrajput,” said Harbhajan Singh in a tweet post.

Besides this, many other cricketers such as Shikhar Dhawan, Nikhil Chopra, Wriddhiman Saha, among others condoled the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.
