England all-rounder, Ben Stokes completed 100 wickets in Test Cricket on Day of the ongoing test between India and England.
The 27-year-old pacer achieved the landmark in his 43rd Test by picking the wicket of Dinesh Karthik.
By doing so, Stokes also became only the fifth player from England to score over 2500 runs and pick 100 wickets in the longer format of the game.
Ian Botham, Tony Greig, Andrew Flintoff and Stuart Broad are among others who have achieved the landmark.
Stokes became the 3rd fastest to achieve the above feat. Shakib Al Hasan is the fastest (37 inns).
His early blows had reduced India to 100/5 but then the tourists managed to score 274 runs with the help of Virat Kohli’s 149.
