After the dramatic Durban test where Srilanka registered 1 wicket win, in second test, SL beat SA by 8 wickets.
The hosts were twice all out for 222 and 128. Sri lanka scored 154 and 197/2.
Kushal Mendis scored unbeaten 84 and Oshada Fernando added 75 runs to take SL to victory.
Almost every bowler benefitted in first three innings.
Vishwa Fernando, Dananjaya de Silva, Kasun Rajitha and Suranga Lakmal were quite impressive.
Kagiso Rabada and Duanne Oliver failed to repeat their first innings performance but SA batsmen failed badly in 2nd innings.
De Kock’s 86 was the highest score overall. Faf Du Plessis and Aiden Markram registered 50s but it came in a losing cause.

SL registered their ever first series win against Proteas in SA.
Takeaway- It is also a good sign for Srilanka ahead of the ODI series as the World Cup 2019 is approaching within few months.
