Bijapur bulls defeated Bengaluru Blasters by 7 wickets in a low scoring game at Mysore on Thursday to claim their second title in the Karnataka Premier League.

Bijapur Bulls won the toss and opted to bowl first. Batting first, Bengaluru Blasters got bowled out for just 101 runs. Only three players were able to reach the double figures. Opening batsman, KB Pawan was the top scorer with 22 runs.

KP Apanna scalped 3 wickets while Bhavesh Gulecha and Naveen MG shared two wickets each.

In reply, Bijapur Bulls chased down the target in just 13.5 overs. Naveen MG scored 43 runs off 31 balls that included 2 sixes and 5 fours. KN Bharath contributed an unbeaten 21 runs.

Naveen was declared ‘Player of the Match’.

Bharat Chipli who scored 254 runs in 6 innings received ‘Player of the Series’ award.
