Indian batswoman Smriti Mandhana won ‘Player of the Tournament’ Award for scoring the most runs in the Kia Super League.
The 22-year-old scored 421 runs in 10 matches at an average of 60.14.
Mandhana hit a whopping 21 sixes and 45 fours in the tournament, scored her maiden T20 century and hit a couple of half-centuries. Unfortunately, her side Western Storm lost the semi-final match to Surrey Stars (a game which she did not play).
She will be hoping to continue her performance in the upcoming World T20 that kicks off on November 9 in West Indies.
Note: Surrey Stars won the Kia Super League title.
