Google on Monday paid tribute to former Australia’s legendary cricket batsman Sir Don Bradman via GIF doodle on the occasion of his 110th birth anniversary.

Don was born on August 27, 1908, in Cootamundra, Australia. He was regarded as the finest batsman of all time.

In his career spanning 20 years, Bradman scored at a level that made him one of the top class batsman in the history of cricket.

He is also known for leading the Aussies as ‘The Invincibles’ on a record unbeaten tour of England.

Bradman continued to serve the game post-retirement as an administrator, selector, and writer for three decades.

He has the best batting average (99.4) in Test history and is the only batsman to have hit first two triple centuries and remained unbeaten on 299 in one of the occasions.

Bradman was knighted in 1949. The famous Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) has a stand named after him.

He died at the age of 92 on February 25, 2001. The ace cricketer was inducted into International Cricket Council (ICC) hall of fame in 2009.
