Pakistan pacer Mohammed Irfan bowled the most economical over in T20 cricket while playing for Barbados Tridents (BT) at Bardos on Saturday.

Irfan ended with figures of 4-3-1-2 to make the new world record. However, it came in a losing cause as BT lost to St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 6 wickets. Brandon King scored 60 off 49 while Devon Thomas and Ben Cutting contributed 32 and 29* runs respectively as the tourists chased down the total in 18.5 overs.

Earlier, Barbados Tridents scored 147/6 after they were put into bat first. Skipper, Jason Holder top scored with 54 runs off 35 balls. Anton Devcich and Ben Cutting scalped two wickets each.

Mohd. Ifran earned Man of the Match.
