England batsman Jos Buttler on Sunday completed 1000 runs in test cricket while playing in the first innings against India at Nottingham.

The 27-year-old achieved the feat in his 37th innings (23rd test) when he completed his 30th run. He scored 39 runs and was the last batsman to get out after England were bowled out for 161 runs at Tea on Day 2.

Hardik Pandya took his first five-haul and Debutant Rishabh Pant took five catches.

Earlier, India got all out for 329 runs after the play resumed at 307/6 in the first session on Day 2.

Note: Team India got 168 runs lead in their first innings.
