In a recent interview former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee named his three favorite batsman from around the world. In a conversation with Cricbuzz, the 43 year old reveled the name of an India, West Indies and South Africa’s players against whom he faced difficulty while bowling.
Lee, Australia’s express pace bowler and two time World Cup winner- in 2003 & 2007, was asked about top class batsman against whom he played in his career spanning 21 years
He first took the name of God of cricket- Sachin Tendulkar
“I would think of Sachin Tendulkar. But, In my opinion, Sachin was the best batsman in the world,” Lee told Cricbuzz.
King of Allegiance Brian Lara was 2nd in his list
“Then there was Brian Lara. He was just so flamboyant. You bowl six balls at one place and he would hit in six different places,” Lee added.
At last he picked pillar of concentration- Jacques Kallis
Jacques Kallis was the greatest complete cricketer. He could open the bowling or play just as a batsman. He also caught those many catches at slips,” Cricbuzz quoted Lee as saying
