Team India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar on Wednesday picked up three wickets to help his side India A beat South Africa A by 124 runs.

He ended with figures of 9-1-33-3 and was included in India A squad in the quadrangular series as part of the rehabilitation.

Bhuvneshwar suffered a stiff back during this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) which forced him to miss few matches in the tournament, few matches in the limited-overs leg of India’s tour of UK and then the ongoing tests series against England.

Earlier, the fast bowler had passed the YoYo Test to play in the quadrangular series.

Bhuvneshwar has picked 63 wickets in 21 tests. He last played for India in the ODI series against England last month & will be eyeing to play in the Asia Cup that will start in September.
