Australia women on Saturday beat England women by 8 wickets to clinch their 4th ICC Women’s World T20.

England who opted to bat first were bowled out for 105 runs in 19.4 overs.

Danielle Wyatt scored 43 runs and Heather Knight chipped in another 25 runs.

Ashleigh Gardner scalped three wickets while Megan Schutt and Georgia Wareham shared 2 wickets each.

In reply, Aussies chased down the total in just 15.1 overs.

Ashleigh Gardner scored unbeaten 33 runs and skipper Meg Lagging too remained unbeaten at 28.

Gardner won Player of the Match award while Alyssa Healy named Player of the Series.
