Jofra Archer picked a hat-trick off the final over to help his side Sussex defeat Middlesex by 12 runs in the T20 blast on Thursday.
Sussex won the toss and opted to bat first, they were bowled out for 168 runs in 19.4 overs. Opener Philip Sait scored 50 runs off just 20 deliveries with the help of 3 sixes and 5 fours. Delray Rawlins missed on his fifty, he contributed 49 runs off 53 balls.
Tom Barber picked up 4 wickets while Aston Agar scalped 3 wickets.
Chasing 169 runs to win, Middlesex required 16 runs off the last over, lost three successive wickets to Jofra Archer.
The 23-year-old pacer took the wickets of Eoin Morgan (90), John Simpson and James Fuller off the third, fourth and fifth ball to complete his hat-trick.
He ended with figures of 4-0-25-3. Danny Briggs too scalped 2 wickets.
