Afghanistan batsman Hazratullah Zazai on Sunday hit six sixes in an over while playing against Balkh Legends during the ongoing Afghanistan Premier League (APL).
Zazai who is playing for Rashid Khan led side Kabul Zwanans become only the third batsman (after Yuvraj Singh and Ross Whiteley) to achieve the feat in a T20 match.
The 20-year-old smashed the ball all across the park and also equaled the Yuvraj Singh record of 12-ball 50 runs.
There are very rare moments when such records are broken. But when they do, they go down in history books as beyond exemplary. Hazrat Zazai’s unforgiving 12-ball fifty record (jointly shared with Yuvraj and Gayle), is going to be remembered for a long time! Take a bow, Champ! pic.twitter.com/bycSRxJtSf

Note: Abdullah Mazari was the bowler who got hit for plenty of sixes.
Despite Zazai’s performance, Kabul lost the game by 21 runs while chasing a mammoth target of 245 runs.
Earlier, Chris Gayle scored 80 runs off 48 balls as Balkh Legends posted 244/6.
Post-match, Zazai said, “It was a surreal moment for me to perform in front of my idol (Gayle). I was just trying to play my natural game and did not in any way think of outshining anyone.”
